Following what seems like an entire year of leaks and rumors, Apple officially sent out Media Invites on Thursday 29th August 2019 for its upcoming iPhone 11 Event.
This year’s highly-anticipated iPhone 11 Event will take place on Tuesday 10th September at the Steve Jobs Theater at Apple Park in Cupertino, California. The Event will kick off at 10am PT/1pm ET. We also expect Apple to share updates and release dates for iOS 13, iPadOS 13, watchOS 6, tvOS 13 and macOS Catalina. In addition, we expect to learn more about upcoming subscription services such as Apple TV+ and Apple Arcade. There may also be shiny new Apple Watch models to go with shiny new iPhones. So what can we expect from this year’s iPhone 11? Well, according to 9to5Mac: We expect the iPhone 11 lineup to look a lot like the current flagship iPhone lineup with one LCD screen option and two higher-priced OLED screen options. The major upgrade this year is widely believed to be a new three-lens rear camera system with ultra wide shot features, although the less expensive option will likely only have two back lenses.

UPDATE (2pm): Periphery effects from Feeder Bands (Bands of showers and possible Thunderstorms) are possible across Trinidad & Tobago, particularly later this afternoon through Tuesday. This may bring locally heavy rainfall, gusty winds to parts of T&T over the next 24-48 hours. These showers will remain mostly isolated to scattered. No widespread rainfall or severe weather is expected (via @TTWeatherCenter).
UPDATE (11am): A Hurricane Watch has been issued for St. Lucia. The risks of direct impacts from wind and rainfall has increased for Puerto Rico and Hispaniola.

According to the National Hurricane Center (NHC), Tropical Storm Dorian is now compact and getting better organized. It is expected to bring Tropical Storm conditions to the Windward Islands later today (Monday 26th August 2019).

A Hurricane Watch means that Hurricane conditions are possible within the watch area, in this case, within the next 24 hours.
A Tropical Storm Warning means that Tropical Storm conditions are expected somewhere within the warning area within 36 hours. A Tropical Storm Watch means that Tropical Storm conditions are possible within the watch area, generally within 48 hours. Trinidad & Tobago is not forecast to experience direct impacts from Tropical Storm Dorian, although periphery effects are likely, beginning during the latter half of Monday. Interests in Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and Hispaniola should monitor the progress of Dorian as Watches could be required as early as later today. 
As of 11am this morning, the center of Tropical Storm Dorian was located near Latitude 12.3 North and Longitude 57.7 West, which is about 135 Miles (220 Km) ESE of Barbados. Dorian is moving toward the West-Northwest near 14 Mph (22 Km/h) and this motion is expected to continue through Tuesday night, followed by a turn toward the Northwest on Wednesday. On the Forecast Track, the center of Dorian is expected to be near the Windward Islands late today and tonight, and move into the Eastern Caribbean Sea on Tuesday. Dorian is expected to pass near or South of Puerto Rico on Wednesday and approach Eastern Hispaniola Wednesday night.
Maximum sustained winds are near 60 Mph (95 Km/h) with higher gusts. Some strengthening is forecast during the next few days, and Dorian could be near Hurricane strength when it passes through the Northern Windward Islands on Tuesday, and is expected to be a Hurricane when it moves near Puerto Rico and Eastern Hispaniola. Dorian is a small Tropical Cyclone. Tropical-Storm-force winds only extend outward up to 45 Miles (75 Km) from the center. 
Dorian is expected to produce total rain accumulations of 3 to 8 inches in the Windward Islands from Martinique, South to St. Vincent, including Barbados. Isolated maximum totals of 10 inches are possible across the Northern Windward Islands. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected from the Grenadines, South to Grenada and across Dominica.
Hurricane conditions are possible tonight and early Tuesday within the Hurricane Watch area in the Lesser Antilles. Tropical Storm conditions are likely in the warning area by late today. Tropical Storm conditions are possible within the Tropical Storm Watch area by tonight or Tuesday. Swells generated by Dorian will be affecting portions of the Lesser Antilles by late today. These swells could cause life-threatening surf and rip current conditions. This is a developing story - stay tuned for updates. 
An accident on the Churchill Roosevelt Highway this morning (Friday 23rd August 2019) involving a truck and up to seven (7) other vehicles caused a major traffic gridlock on both sides of the Highway. The accident occurred near Courts Megastore.
Details are yet unclear as to the cause of the accident, which also pulled down a light pole onto the lanes of the Highway. Police and Emergency Responders are on the scene. While fishing with her husband on Lake Champlain in Upstate New York recently, Debbie Geddes was soon in disbelief after reeling in what some are calling “the catch of a lifetime.”
The Lake Trout fish reeled in by Geddes appeared to have two (2) mouths - one upper and one lower. Even though Geddes was shocked by her catch and took photos of it, she didn’t think anyone else would be interested. Her co-worker, Adam Facteau, disagreed and eventually shared the photo on a Facebook Page called “Knotty Boys Fishing.” Unsurprisingly, the post went viral with thousands of shares and over a thousand comments. There have been a numbers of theories about what caused the fish to have two (2) mouths, ranging from an injury to polluted waters. After stabbing a man several times and stealing his white Nissan Tiida, a bandit was in such a hurry to escape that he crashed into a blue Hilux van shortly after. The Tiida exploded into flames on impact, trapping and burning the bandit to death.
The incident occurred around 6am on Wednesday 21st August 2019 along Antigua Road in Wallerfield. Motorists passing the scene early this morning were shocked and horrified to see the driver of the Tiida trapped behind the wheel and engulfed in flames. The owner of the Tiida who was stabbed was rushed to Hospital. His condition is unknown at this time. The identity of the bandit has not been released as yet. Warner Bros. Pictures Group Chairman, Toby Emmerich, announced on Tuesday 20th August 2019 that ‘The Matrix 4’ is coming with Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss reprising their roles as Neo and Trinity, respectively.
Emmerich added to the already-exciting news by revealing that Lana Wachowski is set to write, direct and produce ‘The Matrix 4.’ We could not be more excited to be re-entering ‘The Matrix’ with Lana. Lana is a true visionary — a singular and original creative filmmaker — and we are thrilled that she is writing, directing and producing this new chapter in ‘The Matrix’ universe.
The first three (3) films - ‘The Matrix,’ ‘The Matrix Reloaded’ and ‘The Matrix Revolutions’ — have collectively earned more than $1.6 Billion globally at the Box Office. All three (3) were written and directed by Lana and her sister, Lilly, and starred Reeves and Moss.
According to Lana Wachowski: Many of the ideas Lilly and I explored 20 years ago about our reality are even more relevant now. I’m very happy to have these characters back in my life and grateful for another chance to work with my brilliant friends.
What is uncertain at this point is whether Laurence Fishburne will reprise his role as Morpheus. If all goes well, ‘The Matrix 4’ may begin production in early 2020. Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow Pictures will produce and globally distribute the film.
