While fishing with her husband on Lake Champlain in Upstate New York recently, Debbie Geddes was soon in disbelief after reeling in what some are calling “the catch of a lifetime.”
The Lake Trout fish reeled in by Geddes appeared to have two (2) mouths - one upper and one lower. Even though Geddes was shocked by her catch and took photos of it, she didn’t think anyone else would be interested. Her co-worker, Adam Facteau, disagreed and eventually shared the photo on a Facebook Page called “Knotty Boys Fishing.” Unsurprisingly, the post went viral with thousands of shares and over a thousand comments. There have been a numbers of theories about what caused the fish to have two (2) mouths, ranging from an injury to polluted waters. See statements below by Debbie Geddes about her “catch of a lifetime” and let us know your thoughts in the comments. When this particular fish bit, it felt like I had a nice fish on. I actually commented, 'I hope it's as big as it feels!'
