With days left now before the U.S Election on 3rd November 2020, President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden participated in the second (and final) 2020 Presidential Debate last night (Thursday 22nd October 2020) at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. Both candidates clashed over a variety of issues, including COVID-19, in a seemingly calmer and less combative Presidential Debate this time around when compared to their first, which was three (3) weeks ago. The pair traded accusations about their personal ethics and questioned each other’s records on economic, racial-justice, health care and immigration in their final meeting before Election Day. Their microphones were muted at times during the Debate. It came after more than 47 Million Americans, more than a third of the total 2016 vote, already had cast ballots. President Trump was optimistic about having a vaccine for COVID-19 by the end of 2020, while former Vice President Joe Biden said there is no prospect of a vaccine for the majority of Americans before mid-2021.
