The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) is advising customers of South West Trinidad that a supply disruption is to be expected from 2:00 PM on Monday (31st October 2022) until 2:00 PM on Tuesday (1st November 2022).
This is due planned works to be carried out at the corner of New Colonial Road and Rochard Douglas, Number 2 Junction, Barrackpore, as follows:
Areas to be affected include: Barrackpore-New Colonial, Rochard Douglas, Khanhai South and North, Oropouche South Trace, Jone Village, Nanan Trace, Congo Hill, Tin Pan Alley, Lower Rock Road, Rochard Road and side streets, parts of Clarke Road, Seemungal Trace, Jhulai Trace, Best Trace, Crawford Trace, Goodman Trace, Mulchan Trace, Bunsee Trace, Crawford Branch Trace, Halliday Trace, Quarry Road Morne Diablo, Teemul Trace, Naipalia Trace, Satnarine Trace, Ramsingh Trace, Upper Rock Road, Platinite Trace, Haggard Trace, Rebeiro Trace, Hope Trace, Mon Stewart, Cleghorn, Borde Narve, Carat Hill, Monkey Towne and Environs, St. Charles, Ste. Madeline, Friendship, St. John, Bronte and Papourie Road (Upper and Lower). Customers are advised that it may take up to thirty-six (36) to forty-eight (48) hours for supply to normalize in some of the affected areas following the completion of works. Traffic Advisory New Colonial Road, Barrackpore WASA is advising motorists and members of the general public of traffic restrictions at New Colonial Road, Number 2 Junction, Barrackpore and in the vicinity of the Barrackpore Market. This has become necessary in order to facilitate repairs to leaking 300mm and execute upgrade works at Rochard Douglas. DATE: Monday 31st October 2022 to Tuesday 1st November 2022 TIME: From 2:00 PM to 2:00 PM (24 hours) Motorists are asked to proceed with caution and to obey the instructions of the Police Officers on duty in the vicinity of the job site, since only single-lane traffic will be in effect.
