The Ministry of Health revealed in its daily 4pm update this afternoon (Saturday 28th November 2020) that there are forty-four (44) additional COVID-19 cases in Trinidad and Tobago. This represents a 175% increase in reported cases from yesterday.
The Ministry reported sixteen (16) cases yesterday as well as two (2) more unfortunate deaths. The country’s death toll currently stands at 118. T&T’s confirmed cases now jumps to 6,630, with 780 being active cases. A total of 5,732 patients have recovered from the virus to date. The Ministry states that of the forty-four (44) new positive cases, three (3) are from Tobago. Further, the number of positive cases reported reflects the samples taken during the period 25th - 27th November 2020 and not the last 24 hours.
