According to the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS), we can expect a generally fair and sunny day (Monday 31st July 2023), with brief showers in a few areas. There is a low to medium (20% - 40%) chance for an isolated heavy shower or thunderstorm favouring hilly areas and Western Trinidad, during the afternoon.
The Met Office notes that in the event of the occurrence of a thunderstorm, gusty winds and street or flash flooding is likely in the vicinity. The forecast maximum temperature today will be 33°C at Piarco in Trinidad and 32°C at Crown Point in Tobago. Seas are moderate with waves 2m in open waters and near 1m in sheltered areas.
