The Ministry of Works and Transport re-opened all Licensing Offices on 12th July 2021 with limited appointments. In light of the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Licensing Division resumed operations on a phased basis to ensure that adequate social distancing and crowd control measures are maintained. As a reminder, the Ministry previously indicated that ALL expired Driver’s Permits are valid until 1st October 2021. During Phase One of the Licensing Division’s re-opening, Vehicular Transactions, Transfers, Permits and other services were offered.
Phase Two commenced on Friday 23rd July 2021 with a limited appointment system still in effect. During Phase Two, Inspection of Vehicles and Application for Provisional Permits have been added to the list of services offered. See below for more information on Phase Two: ALL APPOINTMENTS MUST BE MADE VIA THE ONLINE BOOKING SYSTEM SERVICES OFFERED Additional Permit Renewal Appointments - Friday 23rd July 2021 (Limited online appointments only). Application for Provisional Permits - Thursday 29th July 2021 (Limited online appointments only). Additional Vehicle Transfer Appointments - Monday 26th July 2021 (Limited online appointments only). Vehicle Transfers - Monday July 26th 2021. Walk-in service for persons travelling ONLY. Proof of air travel is required via confirmed ticket. Inspection of ALL Vehicles - Tuesday 3rd August 2021 (Limited online appointments only). Inspection of Vehicles (Goods Vehicles for Registration Purpose ONLY) - Monday 26th July 2021. Visitation of Approved Vehicle Testing Stations - Monday 26th July 2021. Citizens are reminded of the following:
Service at all Licensing Offices will continue within normal working hours (Monday - Friday, 8am to 4pm); however, the Officer in charge reserves the right to implement measures where necessary to mitigate congestion.
