Two (2) Directors of a prominent car dealership located in La Romaine, San Fernando, were arrested during an anti-crime exercise conducted in the Southern Division yesterday (Tuesday 30th January, 2024).
According to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS), between 3:50 PM and 6:25 PM, a team of Officers attached to the Stolen Vehicles Squad executed a search warrant on the premises of a new and/or used car dealership located in La Romaine, San Fernando. The Officers conducted a comprehensive search at the location in the presence of two (2) of the company’s Directors, during which time items of evidential value relating to the investigation were seized. Both Directors, a father and son, were deemed suspects in recent reports of larceny motor vehicle. They were both arrested and conveyed to the Stolen Vehicle Squad Office in Port-of-Spain. The exercise was led by Senior Superintendent Ramjohn, Superintendent Etienne, ASP Ramdass and supervised by Inspector Lazarus. Enquiries are continuing. We are a small operation.
