The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) is advising customers served by the Maraval Water Treatment Plant, who are currently experiencing a disruption in their water supply, that this is due to mechanical issues impacting one of the pumps at the facility. Emergency repair works currently underway are expected to be completed today (Thursday 28th April, 2022).
Affected areas include along Saddle Road, Maraval, inclusive of the following:
The Authority further advises that it may take up to twenty-four (24) hours for the service to normalize to some affected areas following the completion of the repair works.
