UPDATE (10/01/20): The Met Office has extended its Hazardous Seas Alert by 24 hours and will now run until 2pm on Wednesday 15th January 2020. Waves above 3m have been observed in open waters.
The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service has issued a Hazardous Seas Alert (Yellow Level) from 8pm on Thursday 9th January to 2pm on Tuesday 14th January 2020.
According to the Met Office, strong low level winds are expected to agitate sea conditions, mainly around Tobago and to the North and East of Trinidad.
