The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS) has issued an Adverse Weather Alert (Yellow Level) for a total of seven (7) hours on Saturday (27th November 2021). The Alert begins at 11am this morning and will remain in effect until 6pm.
According to the Met Office, a high (70%) chance of heavy showers/Thunderstorms can lead to the threat of isolated Flash Flooding events that may cause temporary traffic disruptions. Gusty winds may be experienced in the vicinity of heavy downpours. Frequent lightning activity will accompany Thunderstorms.
