The Ministry of Health held a virtual Press Conference at 11am this morning (Wednesday 25th August 2021) to update the public on the latest developments with COVID-19 in Trinidad and Tobago. Below are the key points discussed today, courtesy of TTT Live Online: - Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Roshan Parasram, provided an update on active cases in T&T by County. The breakdown is as follows:
- The CMO also shared that the patient distribution by age shows that the 20 - 39 and 40 - 59 groups are the most prominent. - Dr. Parasram stated that to date, 490,958 persons have received their first vaccine dose and 372,614 persons have received both doses.
