The Ministry of Health will be hosting a virtual Press Conference at 11am this morning (Wednesday 24th June 2020). As of this morning, Trinidad and Tobago still has a total of 123 positive cases of COVID-19. The country last recorded six (6) positive cases on Sunday 14th June 2020 from a Cruise Ship containing over 300 T&T Nationals. So far there have been eight (8) deaths and a total of 109 persons have been discharged.
Prime Minister Keith Rowley addressed the nation at a Press Conference from Tobago on Saturday 20th June 2020 to announce that Phase 5 will in fact proceed as planned on Monday 22nd June 2020.
