The Ministry of Health is advising members of the public that they are currently engaged in a verification process to ensure that the information provided on Immunization Record Cards (vaccination cards) is accurate.
Where required, the Ministry said its representatives are contacting members of the public, via telephone, to confirm the information provided. This exercise is being conducted on behalf of the Ministry and representatives will identify themselves prior to obtaining the information. The Ministry is assuring the public that all information is treated as confidential and will only be used for official record keeping as the Ministry moves towards the digitizing of its immunization records. Members of the public are asked to co-operate with the Ministry’s representatives conducting this exercise and are advised that they can verify the legitimacy of these calls and representatives by calling 627-0010, 627-0011 or 627-0012 at ext. 1750.
