Kiss Baking Company Limited issued a Media Release on Sunday afternoon (25th April 2021), stating that a “piece of plastic” may have contaminated a loaf of bread. Kiss notes this was “highly unlikely,” however, they have recalled a number of bread products which were produced on Friday (23rd April 2021).
The products that were recalled are as follows:
Despite what has been circulating on social media, Kiss is assuring customers that there is no possibility of glass being present in any of their products. Kiss emphasizes that their manufacturing processes do not use any equipment containing glass.
