President of the Downtown Owners Merchant Association (DOMA), Gregory Aboud, has confirmed the authenticity of a Security Advisory warning its members about on-going gang violence along Piccadilly Street/East Dry River in Port-of-Spain.
The warning is of particular importance for drivers leaving Port-of-Spain on afternoons as that route is a popular shortcut. Part of the letter states that DOMA have received “verifiable reports and information from drivers who have been witness to episodes of gunfire in plain sight with shooters walking around with guns showing.” Read the full letter issued by DOMA to its members below and let us know your thoughts in the comments.
