UPDATE: According to reports, Lara is doing “fine” now and will be discharged from Hospital after being kept for observation for 24 hours. Brian Lara was rushed to the Global Hospital in Mumbai, India on Tuesday 25th June 2019 after complaining of chest pains. Lara tragically lost his father, Bunty, to a heart attack in 1989, before he had made his international debut.
The Hospital has not released any information so far but an update on Lara’s condition is expected soon. 50-year-old Lara is in India to cover the Cricket World Cup for Star Sports.
