The Office of the Prime Minister (OPM) just announced that Prime Minister Keith Rowley tested positive for COVID-19 this morning (Thursday 23rd February 2023) after experiencing “mild flu-like symptoms last night.”
This is the fourth time he has tested positive for COVID-19. The OPM notes that Prime Minister Rowley will remain in isolation in keeping with the current COVID-19 protocols. “He will continue working from his office at the Prime Minister's residence. He is scheduled to lead the weekly Cabinet meeting this morning and is expected to attend Parliament virtually tomorrow where he will answer Prime Minister's Questions.” P.M. Rowley was scheduled to host a Press Conference at 2:30 PM this afternoon. However, a Post-Cabinet Media Briefing will be held instead at 3:00 PM today.
