A gruesome discovery was made last night (Saturday 28th January 2023) after Fire Officers extinguished a vehicle that was on fire in the Claxton Bay area. Human skeletal remains were said to have been found in the back seat of the vehicle.
The remains were found around 10:00 PM on Saturday night, off Cedar Hill Road, Claxton Bay, in the vicinity of the dump. Residents of the area reported hearing a loud explosion and upon investigating, observed a vehicle on fire. Police and Fire Services were notified. While Fire Officers were able to contain the blaze, upon checking the burnt-out car, however, they found what appeared to be the skeletal remains of a human in the back seat. Police are yet to ascertain whether the remains is that of a man or woman. Investigations are continuing. More on this as it becomes available. [Source: Loop] We are a small operation.
