The body of a man was found in a bushy area in Freeport on Saturday (27th January, 2024). The deceased has not yet been identified. The man was said to be of mixed descent, slim built and brown in complexion. The body bore several stab wounds.
According to reports, Officers were called to a dirt road off Mahaica Road, Freeport, where the body was discovered. The man’s throat was slit and there were stab wounds about the body. A knife was also found at the scene. Officers said the man was wearing a navy blue T-shirt, long blue jeans, and black underpants with green and white sneakers. Investigations are continuing.
