UPDATE 2: A Senior Police Officer from the Southern Division has confirmed that only two (2) Police Officers were arrested in connection with Natalie’s kidnapping. They are being held at an undisclosed location at this time.
UPDATE: Social Media has been buzzing after information leaked that three (3) Police Officers attached to the Southern Division are allegedly in custody for the kidnapping of Natalie Pollonais. If true, this would be in line with an anonymous Eyewitness that reported seeing Natalie being stopped and searched by Police Officers on the road on the day she disappeared.
Shortly after 7pm tonight, Monday 10th September 2018, the Trinidad & Tobago Police Service (TTPS) announced via Twitter that Natalie Pollonais has been rescued. No further details were given at that time.
However, a short time after, Commissioner of Police, Gary Griffith held a brief Press Conference stating that no Ransom was paid in the “calculated extraction” of Natalie by Police Officers. He also stated that she is doing well. Natalie was rescued after a white Nissan AD Wagon was intercepted by Police, having just left a Hotel in Caroni. Natalie, 47, of Mahagony Drive, Palmiste, was last seen at the C3 Centre Gym in San Fernando around 10:30am on Thursday 6th September 2018. Her abandoned car was found later that night at Cypress Hills, Union Hall in San Fernando with a different set of License Plates. Also on that night, her Kidnappers contacted her family and demanded a US $300,000 Ransom for her safe return. They allowed her to speak to her Husband as proof she was alive. Natalie is a Mother of three (3) children and is married to Jason Pollonais, Director of Inland and Offshore Contractors Limited (IOCL). It’s New York Fashion Week. Cardi B and Nicki Minaj both showed up at the Harper's Bazaar's “Icons” Party last night (Friday 7th September 2018). Nicki was with her crew at a Table, when Cardi "aggressively approached the Table" - this according to Eyewitnesses.
Cardi said, "Let me tell you something" as she lunged toward Nicki, but Security stopped her inches from contact. Cardi then pulled off her Shoe and threw it at Nicki, barely missing her target. However, people connected to Cardi told TMZ that when Cardi approached the Table she was not looking for a fight. They said she wanted "to address the lies Nicki was spreading." They believe Security had a plan if Cardi came anywhere near Nicki and one of them elbowed her in her face (See the lump on Cardi’s forehead below). At that point all hell broke loose.
Cardi was escorted out by Security and she left the Building with one Shoe on her foot. Shortly after the incident, Cardi took to Instagram to address the situation:
I've let a lot of shit slide! I let you sneak diss me, I let you lie on me, I let you attempt to stop my bags, f—k up the way I eat! You've threaten other artists in the industry, told them if they work with me you'll stop f—king with them.
Nicki has yet to address the situation publicly - stay tuned!

The Minister of Works and Transport, Rohan Sinanan, is advising citizens that in the coming months, his Ministry will be reviewing and revising legislation that deals with vehicle tints in T&T. The aim of this will be to clarify exactly what level of tinting can be deemed as ‘illegal.’
The process right now puts the burden on Police Officers to make a judgement-call on whether a vehicle’s tint is too heavy or not. According to Minister Sinanan: For so long it has been arbitrary in terms of how these things are decided, so the Ministry will be reviewing these policies in an effort to bring more clarity.
The current legislation carries a fine of TT $2,000 per heavily-tinted window. According to the Motor Vehicles and Road Traffic Act:
No motor vehicle front windscreen, side windows or rear window shall be painted, tinted or darkened to obscure the view from the outside to the inside.
