71-year-old Prince Charles, the future king of Britain, has tested positive for COVID-19, according to his Spokesman on Wednesday 25th March 2020. He is said to have mild symptoms “but otherwise remains in good health.” He has been displaying mild symptoms but otherwise remains in good health and has been working from home throughout the last few days as usual. A statement was released by Clarence House, which is Prince Charles’ official residence and office: The Duchess of Cornwall has also been tested but does not have the virus. In accordance with Government and medical advice, the Prince and the Duchess are now self-isolating at home in Scotland. The tests were carried out by the NHS in Aberdeenshire where they met the criteria required for testing. In a statement texted to The Washington Post, Buckingham Palace said that Charles last saw his 93-year-old mother, Queen Elizabeth II, two (2) weeks ago. Her Majesty The Queen remains in good health. The Queen last saw The Prince of Wales briefly on the morning of 12th March and is following all the appropriate advice with regard to her welfare. We will not be commenting further. Charles, who enjoys physical activities including horseback riding, has previously found it difficult to stop shaking people’s hands. At a red carpet event earlier this month for the Prince’s Trust, a charity he founded that helps vulnerable young people, he laughed at himself trying to not shake hands. He extended and then quickly withdrew his hand to those waiting to greet him — twice. In a video posted on social media, Charles can be overheard saying “oh sorry” before following up with a “namaste” gesture. This is a developing story - refresh this page for updates.

‘Crime Watch’ Host, Ian Alleyne, posted a series of emotional videos on Tuesday night (24th March 2020) in which he alleges he has tested positive for COVID-19 after returning from a short two-day trip to Miami on 15th March 2020, before T&T’s borders were closed. The Government officially closed the borders at Midnight on 22nd March 2020.
According to Alleyne, after consulting with his physician, he drove to Mount Hope Hospital to be tested and received the positive result on Tuesday. It does not appear that he quarantined himself after returning to Trinidad on 15th March 2020 as he continued filming his ‘Crime Watch’ show at his Studio in Chaguanas since then. Up to late Tuesday night, the Ministry of Health did not yet confirm Alleyne’s claims that he in fact tested positive for COVID-19. T&T has a current total of 57 positive cases.
Since posting his videos online, the internet has been trolling Alleyne for his theatrics, acting irresponsibly and even questioning whether he was telling the truth.
