Minister of Health, Terrence Deyalsingh, has just announced at a virtual Press Conference that T&T now has a total of 82 confirmed cases of COVID-19, which is four (4) more since last night. The Minister noted that 49 of these came from the group of T&T Nationals who recently returned from a cruise. The Chief Medical Officer said that we have begun to see some “local spread” in T&T and if this trend continues, we will see “community spread” soon. The Ministry of Health notes the following in regards to the four (4) new positive cases:
