The Office of the Prime Minister (OPM) has announced that Prime Minister Keith Rowley will host a Press Conference at 2:30pm on Saturday (27th March 2021) at the Diplomatic Centre in St. Ann’s. Between Sunday (21st March 2021) and Friday (26th March 2021), there have been 100 reported cases of COVID-19 in Trinidad and Tobago - in just six (6) days. The breakdown is as follows:
Due to this spike in cases, the prospect of Standard 5 students returning to schools on 12th April 2021 is now up in the air. The Ministries of Education and Health are scheduled to meet next week to make any necessary decisions. Will Prime Minister Rowley announce any new restrictions for T&T due to the rising number of cases?
