Tesla CEO, Elon Musk, unveiled what he calls the “Cybertruck” on Thursday night (21st November 2019) at an Event in Los Angeles. This electric Pickup Truck is set to roll off the assembly line in late 2021, starting at US $39,900. Pre-Orders have already started.
It’s safe to say that the design of the Cybertruck is not loved by everyone. Some people love it, others absolutely hate the look of the thing. Musk clearly does not care what people think of its design, as he said so in a Tweet back in 2018.
The Cybertruck can seat a total of six (6) adults and the body is made of ultra-hard 30X cold-rolled stainless steel. In an effort to demonstrate its ruggedness, Musk had Tesla’s Chief of Design, Franz von Holzhausen, hit the door of the Cybertruck with a Sledgehammer several times, without leaving a dent. They then showed the Pickup Truck winning a Tug-of-War with a Ford F-150 and a Drag Race with a Porsche 911. However, all did not go as planned during the demos. When Holzhausen attempted to throw a metal ball against the armored glass of the Cybertruck, it shattered on both tries. Musk quickly joked “we’ll fix it in post.”
There will be three (3) available versions of the Cybertruck, as follows:
Watch below as popular YouTuber, Marques Brownlee (aka MKBHD), gives his impressions of the Cybertruck as he gets a first-ride in Tesla’s futuristic Pickup Truck.

Apple wrapped up a very busy iPhone Event on Tuesday 10th September 2019, revealing several new iPhones, a new Apple Watch Series 5 as well as new services (Apple Arcade, Apple TV+).
If you missed the iPhone Event, you can watch it here in its entirety. The iPhone 11 models consist of the iPhone 11 (successor to iPhone XR), iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max. This is the first time Apple is using the “Pro” name on an iPhone. Last year’s iPhone XR turned out to be the best-selling iPhone model, which had a starting price of US $749. This year, the XR’s successor - the iPhone 11 - starts at an even lower price point of US $699 and comes packed with much more features than the XR.
While the iPhone 11 maxes out at 256GB of storage (US $849), you can get as much as 512GB on the iPhone 11 Pro Max (US $1,449). All iPhone 11 models have ditched the pressure-sensitive (3D Touch) screens of previous models and instead now uses Haptic Touch, which gives you a similar feeling (and features) to that of 3D Touch.

The iPhone 11 Pro models are available in two (2) sizes: 5.8” and 6.5” for the iPhone 11 Pro Max. Both feature a triple lens camera setup at the back for shooting very high-quality photos and videos. iOS 13 will also allow for powerful editing of both photos and videos on the go.
In addition to the technical specs for the iPhone 11 listed above, there are several differences for the iPhone 11 Pro.

Following what seems like an entire year of leaks and rumors, Apple officially sent out Media Invites on Thursday 29th August 2019 for its upcoming iPhone 11 Event.
This year’s highly-anticipated iPhone 11 Event will take place on Tuesday 10th September at the Steve Jobs Theater at Apple Park in Cupertino, California. The Event will kick off at 10am PT/1pm ET. We also expect Apple to share updates and release dates for iOS 13, iPadOS 13, watchOS 6, tvOS 13 and macOS Catalina. In addition, we expect to learn more about upcoming subscription services such as Apple TV+ and Apple Arcade. There may also be shiny new Apple Watch models to go with shiny new iPhones. So what can we expect from this year’s iPhone 11? Well, according to 9to5Mac: We expect the iPhone 11 lineup to look a lot like the current flagship iPhone lineup with one LCD screen option and two higher-priced OLED screen options. The major upgrade this year is widely believed to be a new three-lens rear camera system with ultra wide shot features, although the less expensive option will likely only have two back lenses.
See the Official Media Invite from Apple below and stay tuned for updates as we get closer to the iPhone 11 Event.

Samsung revealed the Galaxy Note 10 at their “Unpacked” event on Thursday 8th August 2019 - and for the first time the Note series features two (2) different models. The Galaxy Note 10 has a 6.3-inch screen while the larger Note 10+ sports a 6.8-inch screen.
Another first for the Note series (and perhaps a sign of things to come for next year’s Galaxy S11) is the exclusion of a headphone jack after years of mocking Apple for doing the same on their iPhones. In an article by The Verge about the Note 10, they state:
There is no headphone jack — Samsung says it used the extra space for more battery. It was nice when Samsung was the rare holdout keeping the headphone jack there, but apparently all nice things die. Samsung is including USB-C headphones in the box, but not the dongle, which costs $9.99.
In addition to different screen sizes on the Note 10 models, there are also differences in RAM, storage and battery capacities. See a full breakdown of their specs below.
Shared Specs (Note 10/Note 10+):

Note 10+ Specs:
The Note 10 comes in Aura Glow, Aura White, Aura Blue, Aura Pink, and Aura Red (only on smaller model). Prices start at US $949 for the Note 10 and US $1,099 for the Note 10+ and both models will ship on 23rd August 2019.
But wait - that’s not all. There will also be a Galaxy Note 10 5G and Note 10+ 5G, both with the same specifications. The Note 10 5G will be available in Korea, while the Note 10+ 5G will be on Verizon Wireless in the U.S. Other Carriers will launch the device later this year.
Facebook is having a rough day. The company’s main apps (Facebook, Messenger, WhatsApp, Instagram) all suffered photo glitches whereby users were unable to upload/download/view photos. The problem started around 7am on Wednesday 3rd July 2019 and has persisted most of the day.
