At approximately 9am on Tuesday 19th June 2018, three (3) men exited a vehicle (pictured above) near Fredrick Settlement Business Park in Caroni. They entered a Chinese Supermarket and announced they were there to “check the books.”
When the Owners realized the men did not arrive in an official Police Vehicle, they quickly contacted the Caroni Police Station seeking verification that the men were in fact Police Officers. The three (3) men fled the scene shortly after as they grew impatient while waiting to be given full access to the Supermarket. A team of Police Officers from the Central Division, under the supervision of Senior Superintendent Balram and ASP Smith, visited the scene and investigations are continuing with the hope of arrests being made shortly.

Wa Tiba, 54, left her home on Muna Island to visit her Cornfield on Thursday night (14th June 2018).
When Ms. Tiba failed to return by Friday morning, her Sister went to search for her along with approximately 100 people from the village of Persiapan Lawela. They found only Ms. Tiba's footprints, her Flashlight, her Machete and Slippers. The huge Snake was found a few dozen yards from Ms. Tiba's belongings. It was 23 feet long and so bloated it could barely move, with a large bulge midway down its body. This is the second such incident in Indonesia in the past year.
