According to unconfirmed reports, Police sources are alleging that the skeleton found buried in a shallow grave at Butu Road, South Valsayn, on 12th March, 2024, may have belonged to a male, and not 18-year-old Hannah Mathura, as previously thought. This, if factual, would mean that Hannah is still unaccounted for.
Giving some credence to this new theory is the fact that Police returned to the “House of Horrors” in Valsayn from 8:45 AM this morning (Wednesday 20th March, 2024). Officers at the scene began questioning relatives on the compound and shortly after, members of the canine unit arrived with a cadaver dog. Ten (10) minutes later, an excavator from the Regional Corporation arrived and went to the back of the compound to begin digging.
Reporters who were at the front of the house were asked to move and Police used a vehicle to block the entrance to the short cul-de-sac leading to the home.
Hannah’s parents were held for questioning by Police last week, but were ordered released on Tuesday (19th March, 2024).
Investigations are continuing.
