RaceTrac Co. - Arouca said it regrets to inform the community of an “unfortunate incident” that occurred recently in which two (2) wheels came loose from a customer’s vehicle, resulting in an “unfortunate accident.” RaceTrac Co. said this was due to an employee's negligence.
In a Media Release on Monday (15th April, 2024), the company said, “First and foremost, we extend our sincerest apologies to the affected customer and anyone else impacted by this incident. The safety and satisfaction of our customers are our top priorities, and we are deeply concerned by this lapse in service.” RaceTrac Co. added, “Upon learning of the incident, we immediately launched a thorough investigation to determine the root cause and prevent such incidents from occurring in the future. We have taken swift disciplinary action against the employee responsible and are implementing additional training and protocols to reinforce our commitment to safety and quality service.” The Media Release concluded by saying, “We understand the trust our customers place in us, and we take full responsibility for this unfortunate event. Rest assured, we are working diligently to regain that trust and uphold the standards of excellence that RaceTrac is known for.
