Prime Minister Keith Rowley issued a stern warning to bar owners on Saturday (27th June 2020), saying he will have no choice but to shut them down again if they can't get their customers to comply with the recently-revised Public Health Regulations. He said he will monitor the situation over the next 48 hours and all bars could be closed as early as this Monday (29th June 2020). The Prime Minister’s threat came on the same day that Minister of Health, Terrence Deyalsingh, also threatened to have bars closed again following social media videos which showed members of the public partying at packed bars in close proximity to each other.
