Prime Minister Keith Rowley remains in isolation and under the supervision of medical personnel in Tobago, according to an update from the Office of the Prime Minister (OPM), shortly before Noon today (Wednesday 7th April 2021). The necessary health protocols are being observed as it relates to the Prime Minister’s care.
The update further stated that the Prime Minister’s vital signs “are all stable and he remains in good spirits. The Prime Minister and his family wish to thank all those who have expressed ‘get well-wishes’ and continue to pray for his wellbeing.” The Prime Minister, also functioning in his role as Chairman of CARICOM, is expected to continue talks with U.S Congresswoman Maxine Waters (D-CA), Chairwoman of the House Committee on Financial Services via a conference call this afternoon.
