The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service has issued a weather update stating that low-level convergence and moisture will likely aid in the development of showers overnight and tomorrow (Sunday 15th December 2019).
Showers can get heavy at times and there is also a low chance for Thunderstorm activity over a few areas. It is possible for this additional rainfall to slow the recession of flood waters in parts of South Trinidad. A Riverine Flood Warning remains in effect until 12pm on Sunday 15th December 2019. The Met Office notes that gusty winds are possible at times and Street/Flash Flooding may also be possible in isolated areas.
