The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service has issued an Adverse Weather Alert (Yellow Level) from 8pm on Sunday 30th June until 4pm on Monday 1st July 2019. Parts of North-East Trinidad have received upwards of 30 millimeters of rainfall in less than 2 hours.
Adverse weather conditions are possible over Trinidad from 8pm on Sunday 30th June 2019. Intense rainfall may result in Street or Flash Flooding in susceptible areas and may be accompanied by damaging gusty winds. This adverse weather is associated with the passage of a Tropical Wave, interacting with the ITCZ (Inter-Tropical Convergence Zone). Some areas are presently experiencing heavy showers.
