UPDATE: Gusty winds associated with early morning Thunderstorms have downed several trees across Trinidad as well as ripped off roofs from several houses.
The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS) has issued an Adverse Weather Alert (Yellow Level) from 7:15am this morning (Saturday 27th June 2020) until 2pm today.
According to the Met Office, a low level Trough with favourable upper level conditions is currently over the area and resulting in occasional Thunderstorms which have been accompanied by wind gusts in excess of 75 Km/h.
