UPDATE (18/06/19): The Met Office has extended its Adverse Weather Alert once again. Stay tuned for further updates.
The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service has now extended its Adverse Weather Alert (Yellow Level) until 4pm on Tuesday 18th June 2019. While there is currently a lull in activity, another round of widespread showers and Thunderstorms are forecast for later this evening and through tomorrow.

Periods of rain and/or showers and isolated Thunderstorms are likely to CONTINUE to affect Trinidad and Tobago. As a result, Street/Flash Flooding can occur in heavy downpours and there is an increased risk of Landslides or Landslips in areas with prolonged rainfall. Additionally, winds can gust in excess of 55km/hr in the vicinity of showers or Thunderstorms.
The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) is continuing to urge citizens to exercise extreme caution on the nation’s roadways.
