A man is thankful for life after he was robbed by an armed bandit shortly after his vehicle shutdown along the Beetham Highway on Thursday night (18th April, 2024).
According to reports, the 37-year-old man was in his white Mitsubishi van, proceeding East along the Beetham Highway, around 10:00 PM, when he began experiencing mechanical failure near the NP Gas Station. The suspect announced a robbery and relieved the victim of his cellphone and $1,420 in cash, before fleeing the scene on foot. The victim notified the Police and a team of Officers responded to the scene, led by PC Cuffie. Investigations are continuing. More on this as it becomes available.
