Fuller House Star, Lori Loughlin and her Fashion Designer husband (Mossimo Giannulli) were among 50 people charged by the U.S Attorney’s Office on 12th March 2019 for allegedly taking part in a widespread College-Admission Fraud Scheme.
Thirteen (13) parents pleaded guilty in ‘Operation Varsity Blues’ on Monday 8th April 2019. A day later, additional charges were slapped on the remaining nineteen (19) people who did not plead guilty.
Under Federal guidelines, both Loughlin and her husband would have received between 18 to 24 months in Prison - if they pleaded guilty to the charges. They are now charged with both Mail Fraud and Money Laundering. These charges each carry a sentence of up to twenty (20) years in Prison.
The couple could also be facing over $1 Million in Fines after the payments they made were categorized as “Charitable Donations.” We are a small operation.
