Alex Trebek (78) posted a video on Wednesday 6th March 2019 announcing he was just diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. The longtime Jeopardy! Host insisted in his video that he intends on beating the Cancer.
Pancreatic Cancer, on average and across all Stages, has a 5-year survival rate of 9%, according to the American Cancer Society.
Trebek has been hosting Jeopardy! since 1984 and the Game Show has been immensely successful since. He does not plan on retiring anytime soon and even joked in the video that his contract does not expire for another three (3) years.
