At Samsung’s Unpacked Event earlier today, the company revealed its new foldable Smartphone - the Galaxy Fold, in addition to several new Galaxy S10 models. Samsung is planning to launch the Galaxy Fold on 26th April 2019, starting at US $1,980. There will be both an LTE and 5G version of the Galaxy Fold.
The Galaxy Fold features a 7.3” Infinity Flex Display in Tablet mode and folds into a portable 4.6” Display when being used as a Smartphone. The Hinge for the folding mechanism uses multiple interlocking gears which are hidden at the rear of the device.
