U.S Ambassador Joseph Mondello just announced a major policy change for T&T citizens seeking to renew their U.S Visas. Effective immediately, you are no longer required to attend an interview in order to renew your U.S Visa - once done within a year from its expiry date.
This applies to Non-Immigrant B1, B2 or B1/B2 Tourist Visas.
The announcement was made by Ambassador Mondello at the Buccoo Integrated Facility in Tobago. Instead of attending an interview, persons can simply send in the required documents to the U.S Embassy for processing.
This new policy will be especially convenient for Tobago residents who would otherwise have to make a trip to Trinidad in order to renew their U.S Visa.
