According to reports, Police have been ordered to release the parents of murdered 18-year-old Hannah Mathura — her 66-year-old father and 62-year-old mother — due to insufficient evidence to lay charges against them. Hannah’s body was found buried at her home located at Butu Road, South Valsayn, on 12th March, 2024.
The instruction was handed down to Officers by the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), Roger Gaspard, SC, this afternoon (Tuesday 19th March, 2024). Hannah’s both parents were arrested on Wednesday night (13th March, 2024), a day after her body was found in a shallow grave at the family’s home. It is believed she was buried there seven (7) years ago. Investigators said at the time that Hannah’s both parents could be facing multiple charges as the investigation continues. Among them is murder, as well as the unlawful disposal of a body. Hannah was sad to be one of eight (8) children living at the residence at Butu Road. An autopsy has since revealed she was shot in the head. More on this as it becomes available. This is a developing story - refresh this page for updates. [Source: CNC3] We are a small operation.
