The Ministry of Health will be hosting a virtual Press Conference at 11am this morning (Monday 27th September 2021) to update the public about the latest developments with COVID-19 in Trinidad and Tobago.
The Ministry announced six (6) new cases of the Delta variant last night and noted that five (5) of these cases had no recent history of travel. A total of seventeen (17) cases have now been confirmed in the country. Two (2) previous cases were also found to have no recent history of travel. The Ministry reported 127 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday along with six (6) more unfortunate deaths. The country’s death toll has reached 1,457. There have been 5,102 new cases and 166 deaths so far in the month of September. Watch the live stream of the Press Conference below when it begins at 11am, courtesy of TTT.
