The Ministry of Health revealed on Friday afternoon (26th June 2020) that Trinidad and Tobago has recorded its 124th positive case of COVID-19. The latest case came from the Enchantment of the Seas Cruise Ship that returned with 308 T&T Nationals on Friday 12th June 2020. This is now the 7th person to have tested positive for COVID-19 from that Cruise Ship. The Ministry notes that all established protocols are being maintained. The remaining passengers have been quarantined aboard the vessel for the past two (2) weeks and were due to be released soon. The country last recorded six (6) positive cases on Sunday 14th June 2020 from that same Cruise Ship. So far there have been eight (8) deaths and a total of 109 persons have been discharged.
