At a Press Conference this afternoon (Saturday 26th June 2021), Prime Minister Keith Rowley announced that given the current situation with COVID-19 in the country, the Government will NOT re-open private sector construction on Monday (28th June 2021).
Prime Minister Rowley said this decision was made after having full discussions and reviewing the numbers. However, Government construction will re-open the following Monday (5th July 2021). The Prime Minister noted that approximately 15,000 construction workers have been vaccinated so far, but most have only received a first dose.
