A man is currently hospitalized after he was stabbed by a woman in Tobago on Wednesday night (17th April, 2024). The victim is said to be a 32-year-old lifeguard. The woman was arrested following the incident.
According to reports, the man and a 24-year-old woman were at a home along Belle Aire Road, Charlotteville, Tobago, when they got into an argument, around 11:00 PM on Wednesday night. The confrontation soon turned physical, during which the woman armed herself with a knife and stabbed the man on both sides of his neck. Upon hearing the loud commotion, residents notified the Police and Emergency Health Services and the victim was taken to the Scarborough General Hospital for medical treatment, before being transferred to Trinidad to undergo emergency surgery. The woman was arrested by Officers of the Charlotteville Police Station. Investigations are continuing, led by WPC Cox. More on this as it becomes available.
