A businessman is dead following a shooting incident outside his home in Couva last night (Wednesday 1st May, 2024). The deceased has been identified as John Henry, who was said to be the owner of Crystal Waters and Silver Dollar Casinos.
According to reports, Henry was shot outside his home, located at Canary Avenue, Mc Bean, Couva, around 7:30 PM on Wednesday night. He was rushed to a Private Hospital in Freeport where he was pronounced dead on arrival. The burnt shell of a Nissan B13 was discovered in the area of the Camden Heliport. Police believe the car was used to transport the assailants, who then allegedly fled in a red Nissan Sylphy. Officers of the Couva Police Station visited the scene of the murder.
