According to reports, an unidentified woman was killed while attempting to cross the Highway on Saturday night (23rd April 2022). She was hit by a black Toyota Hilux, driven by a 53-year-old man. The woman's body was thrown and badly mangled following the impact.
The tragic accident took place around 8:45pm along the Westbound lane of the Churchill Roosevelt Highway, under the Grand Bazaar Overpass. The unidentified woman is said to be of African descent, clad in a blue three-quarter jeans, and a black and white top. A team of Officers led by Sup Powder responded and visited the scene.
