As explosion was heard around 11am this morning (Tuesday 26th November 2019) on the 12th floor of the Parkade building on Richmond Street in Port-of-Spain. Following the explosion, smoke quickly filled the elevator and the elevator shaft of the facility as people attempted to flee the area.
