The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS) has issued an Adverse Weather Alert (Yellow Level) from 5am tomorrow morning (Thursday 1st October 2020) until 8am on Friday. The Inter-Tropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) is expected to become very active over Trinidad and Tobago from early morning tomorrow. This abundance of moisture and favourable upper level conditions, in addition to the passage of a Tropical Wave, will create very unstable conditions over our area. As such, periods of showers and rain are likely in most areas and occasional Thunderstorm activity can be expected as well. Accompanying this shower activity will be a surge of winds in the low levels which will promote very gusty conditions particularly during heavy showers and Thunderstorms.
