UPDATE (27/11/19 - 9am): The Adverse Weather Alert has been discontinued by the Met Office. Isolated showers and Thunderstorms are approaching Eastern T&T, with additional activity across Western areas after Midday. The main hazards are Street Flooding and gusty winds.
The initial Adverse Weather Alert (Yellow Level) has been extended by the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service until 10am on Wednesday 27th November 2019 as more showers and Thunderstorms are expected. As winds in the lower levels of the atmosphere continue to be relatively strong, there remains a high chance of gusty winds in excess of 55 Km/hr accompanying isolated showers and Thunderstorms overnight (Tuesday) and into Wednesday morning. Note that Thunderstorms may continue into Wednesday afternoon as well.
