UPDATE (25/06/19): There have been massive traffic pileups along the Southern Main Road today, which is the first full day under the new traffic changes. Angry motorists and Maxi Taxi drivers were stuck for hours in bottlenecks from the Valsayn Intersection.
The Ministry of Works & Transport wishes to advise citizens that from 24th June 2019 and for the next six (6) months, there will be a change in the traffic flow of the Southern Main Road in the vicinity of the Curepe Intersection (Churchill Roosevelt Highway/Southern Main Road. The existing CRH/SMR Intersection will be shifted approximately 150m east.
